Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is set to roll out massive and intrusive campaigns next month in bit to consolidate support to his candidate Muchoki Mbuthia alias Kishoo.
The Machakos governor’s party has an elected MCA at Muranga County Assembly, Mr John Ruoho Wangechi who represents Kinyona Ward who will also coordinate campaigns to convince Gaturi electorates to vote for the youthful leader who is an electrical engineer by profession.
Mr Mbuthia who has been engaged in environmental conservation in Gaturi touts himself as an youthful leader committed in uplifting the lives of the ordinary youth women and the older generation.
A family man and a supporter of church activities, Mr Mbuthia says should he be elected in Gaturi, he shall lobby for development projects in Gaturi without fear or prejudice.
“I have been engaged in several activities which includes tree planting, cleaning of Mathioya River in partnership with locals, electrical installation in both Primary and Secondary schools, donating footballs to our youth to keep them busy and in the fight against drug abuse and organizing food donations to the underprivileged,” he told our political desk on Wednesday.
The aspirant has also been engaged in holding of motivational talks to his peers, creating awareness against Covid-19 disease and donating of soaps water containers and sanitizers to boda boda riders to contain the pandemic.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap candidate will battle it out with Jubilee’s Rosemary Njiine Wakuthii, National Ordinary Peoples’ Union‘s Chris Kimuhu, Democratic Party candidate Wilson Kenda and Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC candidate.
