Kirinyaga Women Representative’s husband Andrew Ngirichi who was summoned by security enforcers on Saturday has maintained that his announcement to ferry over 4000 to Senate is unstoppable.
The philanthropist and Kirinyaga tycoon has explained that his summoning by the OCPD and Kirinyaga security enforcers was aimed at intimidating him following his sentiments on Governor Ann Waiguru’s impeachment.
Speaking to press after the grilling, Mr Ngirichi said the detectives enquired from him about the impeachment and about his philanthropy in Kirinyaga where together with his wife, they have been distributing food to the poor and the hungry.
“They hard pressed me to explain to them about my food distribution drive and whether locals have been observing Ministry of Health guidelines and about the impeachment process and I stood my guts and told them everything,” he said.
He added that he refused to record statement saying there was nothing to write about.
“There were no fracas or issues during the food distribution drive, I refused to record any statement,” he added.
He however maintained that on Tuesday, he shall ferry over 4000 residents to Nairobi for demonstration should the Senate decide to give a committee the mandate of spearheading the impeachment motion.
“I’m unstoppable I will ferry over 4000 people to Nairobi to monitor the impeachment process and anyone thinking that he or she will intimidate me let them know Ngirichi is a signature I’m unstoppable,” he said.
