The most touted influence by former Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe has been dismantled into pieces by a Gitugi village man Samuel Mwangi alias Kifeeti.
Mr Kifeeti who tore the ‘influential’ leader into pieces at Kameme Tv on Monday accused Mr Murathe of misadvising the President on matters that have no interest of common man cautioning the President not to heed to his advice as it could lead to opposition from locals.
In a candid and a bare knuckle Kameme Tv interview hosted by celebrated Tv icon Njogu Wa Njoroge, Mr Kifeeti further dismissed the purported new alliance which comprises of Peter Kenneth, Raila Odinga, Mukhisa Kituyi among others saying the composition will only end in political desert as Kenyans are wise and will elect their leader of choice.
He at the same time chided with Central Organization of Trade Union (Cotu) boss Francis Atwoli for what he described as trying to impose a leader for Mt Kenya region.
“The purported team is heading to political desert, no one among the listed members matches the political expertise and experience of Governor Mwangi Wa Iria, The team is not for the good of the country but for Atwoli who host them in hotels and in his home,’ he said.
Mr Kifeeti downplayed calls to have Peter Kenneth as the region’s kingpin saying he has been in opposition since time immemorial having went against Mt Kenya region in 2012 and 2017 when the region supported President Uhuru Kenyatta and when the Jubilee party was determined to take over Nairobi governor position respectively.
” He is not fit to be our kingpin and he doesn’t have the region’s blessings, if they continue purporting to speak on our behalf a time will come when the majority will say no,” Mr Kifeeti added.
He vowed to continue responding to Mr Kenneth and Mr Murathe’s political moves maintaining that just like him, the two leaders are not holding any elective position.
While Mr Murathe and Mr Kenneth unsuccessfully ran for Gatanga and Nairobi political seats respectively, Mr Kifeeti too unsuccessful ran for Gitugi Ward MCA.
