There will be a tight race for Kiharu parliamentary seat as we approach 2022 general election where three main political bigwigs will face each other.
Several candidates have declared their interest in the much coveted Kiharu constituency seat keen on unseating the incumbent Ndindi Nyoro.
Nyoro is set to face stiff competition from the likes of Karanja Mburu alias Wamatangi, Kiama Muturi, Dr Judy Makira among others.
Nyoro is arming himself with the several NG-CDF projects and his political consistency the incumbent Member of Parliament as the bonga points for his re election plan.
On his part, Wamatangi who has embarked on building water tanks in several schools and villages seeks to taka advantage of the gains to lure the electorate.
Another bigwig who cant be underrated is a woman who has rolled out an all intensive campaign by donating food stuff, dairy goats and personal items to school going children all in bid to lure votes.
Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) will shape the politics given that the three major players hail from Mugoiri, Ndikwe and Gaturi respectively.
There are reports that Nyoro may vie for the governorship position a move that will leave Makira and Wamatangi to battle it out to know who will be the MP.
A close associate of the current MP has hinted that there is a possibility for his boss to contest for gubernatorial seat.
