A section of locals from Muranga County want a disciplinary action taken against Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi over his hateful remarks against Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
The locals led by Andrew Thuo and Alex Mbote said Jubilee party must borrow a leaf from Kanu party that decided to expel Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno over the remarks.
According to the residents the remarks by the leaders could be recipe for chaos and ethnic clashes and it was high time government cracks the whip to the leaders to prevent a repeat of 2007 post election violence.
“We appeal to government agencies to crack the whip to the leaders since if the situation goes on, we could be trending on a dangerous trajectory,” Mr Mbote said.
He added that any statement purportedly directed to the President was being directed to the community.
While condemning the ati Mama Ngina remarks, the leaders pointed their fingers and anger to Deputy President William Ruto saying he has failed to tame his soldiers and that he want to instill fear for him to be voted for Presidency.
“Dr Ruto want us to follow and vote for him by force, but he must change the tact and sweet talk us to vote him, we shall not succumb to fear and threats,” Mr Thuo said.
He wondered why Dr Ruto keeps on reminding Kenyans how he helped President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to ascend to President and Prime Minister respectively adding that a time has come to help himself to attain Presidency if he claims is anything to go by.
