Amani National Congress Party leader Musalia Mudavadi is in Muranga again to solidify his growing influence in the County.
Tomorrow September 12, 2021, all the roads will be leading to Kigumo with local leaders (both elected and MCAs) opinion and clergy ready to receive Mudavadi at Kinyona Catholic church where there will be a fundraiser for Bishop Gatimu Kinyona Girls.
Mudavadi will be hosted by Muranga Women Representative Wanjiru Chege in conjunction with ANC’s Mt Kenya region coordinator Kamau Gikuru.
Mudavadi’s visit to Kigumo comes barely a month after ODM leader Raila Odinga visited the Constituency in a well organised strategy by Gikuru to erode any political gains made by Raila.
Mudavadi has traversed Mt Kenya region on Kiambu, Muranga, Kirinyaga, Nyeri, Nyandarua and other counties where he has maintained that his focus will be reviving economy.
He has been categorical that the region will not be at the periphery of his government owing to its vote rich basket.
“No Presidential candidate worth his salt can form government without total consideration of Mt Kenya region,” the ANC party leader has been categorical on that matter.
Mudavadi has met Muranga MCAs, a section of elected and former MPs from Mt Kenya region who endorsed his Presidential candidature.
His entry in the region has been has received a major boost due to a dedicated team led by Gikuru.
Former Maragua Mp Peter Kamande Mwangi is the Muranga County’s chairperson and this too shows Mudavadi’s commitment and love to work with Muranga County.
