Wa Iria’s party begins mashinani tours

Popularization of Civic Renewal Party (CRP) has begun in earnest at Gitugi Ward, Mathioya, Muranga County.

Samuel Mwangi alias Kifeeti a major lieutenant of Governor Mwangi Wa Iria started CRP mashinani tour where he donated food to locals and joined them in constructing homes to the homeless.

Mr Kifeeti who sits at the National Executive Committee (NEC) representing the interests of the party leader Governor Mwangi Wa Iria said the party will be focused on grassroot mobilization to recruit members while sampling the main priorities that Kenyans across the country need.

The self declared CRP ambassador said he began drumming up for the party by dressing clothes with party’s name and symbols as way of creating awareness to potential members.

“The train has left the station, CRP will be the party to beat and there is no doubt about it, I will seek to be confirmed as Gitugi MCA through the party,” he said.


Mr Kifeeti unsuccessfully sought the MCA seat but has remained in the ground

Mr Kifeeti unsuccessfully sought the seat in 2017 but lost to Mr Mwangi Kihurunjo but chose to remain in the ground helping the ordinary locals in matters education, charitable deeds and other efforts geared to uplifting the standards of his Gitugi fellows.

Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has already announced his bid to vie for the country’s top job after the expiry of his second term.
