A 29 year-old young lad from Muchagara village of Maragua Constituency has announced that he will be locking horns with Maragua MP Mary Waithira Wamaua in 2022’s general election in bid to unseat her.
Edwin Mwaura Murira a father of one and a holder of  Bachelor’s degree in English literature at the Masaai Mara University says he posses all the qualities to seek the Maragua’s Parliamentary seat to inject the ‘transformational leadership skills’.
In an interview with Kkonlinenews.co.ke Mr Murira an anti- Human Trafficking, Illegal immigration, Modern Slavery and Xenophobia crusader says he has been a victim of unemployment and mediocrity in leadership for a very long and that he is ready to turn things around once he clinch to the seat.
“I have been a victim of unemployment, mismanagement of public resources, mediocrity in leadership and lack of creativity, inclusiveness and vibrance in Maragua Constituency and entire nation, I therefore feel greatly obliged to lead the residents of Maragua and make Maragua the best in terms of education,  agriculture and sports,” he said.

Without giving out the formula, Mr Murira also says he shall make education in public schools an interesting activity to the learners which has dangerously declined over the recent years.
The young energetic turk runs a campaign dubbed The ANTI-HIMX Campaigns (Human Trafficking, Illegal Migration, Modern Slavery and Xenophobia) where he uses cycling as a tool for sensitization against against the vice.
The initiative, he says is meant to promote global human dignity especially in Africa and the world at large.
On December last year, Mr Murira and his colleague known as Mr Ndegwa cycled for over 500km from Nairobi to Busia town and then to Malaba to sensitize locals against the vice.
“In every station we stopped at along the 521km journey, our message was one: Kenyans should unite and fight against human trafficking, illegal migration, modern-day slavery and xenophobia,” a campaign he believes have been taking shape day by day.
Mr Murira is anti- human trafficking crusader and runs a non- profit making organization
Mr Murira also runs a non profit making organization known as Mind Shift Kenya Foundation that promotes  Psycho-Socio-Economic  Development in various sections of life including sports,Human Dignity,Innovations and environmental Care.
